2021/2022 Studio Policy
For regulary scheduled monthly lessons (30 minute lessons each week) the monthly tuition is $80. Fees are due the first of each month. A late fee of $5.00 will be charged for tuition paid after the 10th of the month. If tuition remains unpaid on the 15th the student may lose his or her time slot. Monthly tuition is paid directly to the instructor.
Music On Main is pleased to add new students whenever space is available. Registration is $35.00 per student or $55.00 per family. Students will be automatically re-registered for the next year in September unless a formal notiﬁcation of withdrawal is given to the Front Desk in writing prior to the ﬁrst day of the next semester. Students leaving the program during the year are asked to provide a 30 day notice. Registration is paid directly to Music on Main.
A student is registered for a speciﬁc lesson day and time and is responsible for their attendance. As a courtesy, instructors may occasionally allow a lesson to be rescheduled at their discretion, however rescheduling a missed lesson is not guaranteed.
If an instructor misses a lesson that is not scheduled break such as sickness or family emergency the student will, at the discretion of the instructor, be offered a make-up lesson or be credited for one lesson on the next month’s fee.
Should the studio have to close for inclement weather, students will be notiﬁed and a make-up lesson will be scheduled or a credit given on the next month fees at the discretion of the instructor. We do not follow the school system on inclement weather closings. Weather closings will be announced on the web site and via social media, in addition to a call or text message.
The studio operates on a regular schedule throughout the summer. Students are expected to attend a minimum of 6 lessons and continue to pay monthly tuition through the summer in order to keep their current time slot. From time to time we offer additional activities such as music camps and workshops during the summer months so stay tuned!
